Return Policy
We are genuinely interested in your satisfaction with the purchase you make from World of Skates and we do our best to ensure that you receive exactly what you order. To that end we offer a comprehensive return and exchange policy subject to the following conditions. 1. Please call and obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) within 5 days of purchase. 2. Return the item in the original packaging with all the original documents including a copy of the invoice. 3. Enclose a letter with the RMA#, the reason for return, and the action you wish us to take (repair replace or refund). 4. The skates must be unused and in new, excellent condition in their original box and received by us within 20 days of purchase. 5. A 20% restocking fee will apply to returns for refund or a $5.00 fee on returns for exchange. 6 . Please contact us on any defective Item return as the manufacturer may desire that the item be shipped directly to them. 7. We will not accept COD returns. Backorder Policy Please provide us with an e-mail address with your order and we will notify you in the unlikely event that a back-order situation exists. We will give you an estimate of the delay and offer you the option of continuing or canceling your order. World of Skates strives to avoid this situation by removing an item from the web site immediately upon notification by the supplier of an out of stock condition. Shipping Policies We ship most orders UPS Ground. Orders for single items priced at $200.00 or more are shipped free. Orders for single skates, helmets or pads will incur shipping and handling charges of $16.50 per order for UPS Ground. Shipping and handling for two skate orders will incur charges of $20.50. Shipping and handling costs for larger multiple item orders will be dependent upon weight and destination. Shipments requested to PO Boxes will be shipped by first class mail. If you want a different shipping method please so indicate on the order and we will quote you a shipping cost. At this time we ship only to US or Canadian customers. Canadian customers must be sure to include their phone number with the order. Shipping costs will be dependent upon weight and destination. Damaged Goods Policy If a package has been damaged in shipment and the damage to the packaging is visible please refuse the delivery. In the event the damage was not apparent and you have already accepted the delivery please call or e-mail us immediately. Do not return a damaged-in-transit package without authorization as the carrier may wish to inspect the package and a premature return could jeopardize your claim. Should you receive an order that is missing a portion of it please contact us immediately. We will either supply the missing item ourselves or refer you to the manufacturer or supplier to do so. We cannot be responsible for missing items in an order if not notified within 5 days of the date of delivery.
